iAmats Support.
Support for iAmats.com, the L-TEK dance-pad store: step-by-step fixes, a pad tester in the browser and forms that reach the right team.
About 1,000 store visitors a day
About 30 tickets a week, each sent to the right team
12 pad profiles in the browser tester
What it does.
Screen recordings of the real site.
Answers before tickets.
A pad tester in the browser.
The right team, first time.
Guides the team can edit.
Why I built it.
Customers of the store kept writing in with the same questions: my pad is not detected, how do I map it in StepMania, when will my order arrive. We answered them one e-mail at a time.
iAmats Support puts those answers where customers look first. They can test the pad in the browser before they write, and whatever is left goes straight to the right person.
Why this stack.
Built from zero for L-TEK and its pads. The store already ran on shared PHP hosting next to WordPress, so I built around that.
Site
- React and TypeScript
- The tester reads the pad many times a second and has to redraw it live.
- Vite
- Builds the site into static files served from /support/.
Server
- PHP and MySQL
- Already on the store’s hosting, so there was no new server to rent or look after.
- PHPMailer
- Sends each form to its department’s mailbox.
- Pages for crawlers
- A PHP script serves full pages to 23 search and AI crawlers.
AI
- Lovable
- The first working version, in December 2025.
- Gemini
- At the time, the coding agent I rated best.
- Claude Code
- Related products in June 2026.
How I worked with AI.
AI wrote most of the code. The decisions, the testing and the releases were mine or the L-TEK team’s.

Gemini
